Many people, including myself, find inspiration and joy from music. We listen to it when we are upset, happy, with friends and alone. It is a universal experience that brings people together. I find my true self when I listen to music and it creates the perfect environment for my mind to flow and find inspiration.

There are a few songs that will never get old, and that may hold some sentimental value. One of those, for myself, is George Ezra's "Barcelona". This song plays when I am in the car blasting music, when I can not sleep, and when I need to calm down. I feel grounded when it plays, and I am transported to a place in my mind so calm and full of colours. I feel nostalgic when I hear it, reminding me of memories I no longer have.

This project is a personal one that will continue to grow as I travel and as I feel inspired to continue the collection. My goal is to continue these pieces and one day visit them when I have the opportunity.
The piece above draws inspiration from the lyrics
"Shut my eyes and you know / I'll be lying right by your side / in Barcelona"
It features famous structures such as the Sagrada Familia Basilica and the Casa Mila. All it takes is an imagination and shutting your eyes.
Piece to the left is one of the famous windows in the Casa Batlló, this window is
surrounded by stone masonry and steel-beam veins. Designed by Antonio Gaudi.

Piece on the right is a cut out of the mosaic tile benches designed by architect
Antonio Gaudi,  who is popular for his designs, mainly in Barcelona.
The colours and meticulous attention to detail make them a staple.
